I remember this moment vividly. I was watching The Big Idea with Donnie Deustch back in early 2005. Bill Gates was on and I recalled Donnie asking him a question in reference to what Tom Brokaw had said about Bill’s business acumen and how he could run a successful business of any kind.

I was so struck by Bill Gates answer that it stuck with me since the first time I watched it. I haven’t seen the video since that winter day starting out a company and living in the hinterland of northeastern Wyoming. But thanks to someone on YouTube, I found it and now I get to share it with you.
